For clients who built with us through Valyr Build or Renovate, it's 20% of the annual system investment, billed monthly and scoped during the engagement. For example, a $250,000 project would have an annual maintenance cost of $50,000, or approximately $4,167 per month.
Can you maintain software you didn't build?
Absolutely! We regularly work with systems that were built by another developer, an agency that closed, or a team that got reorganized. Our team members are experts at understanding and maintaining existing systems. We just need to learn your system first, and that's what the System Audit is designed to do.
Should I rebuild my legacy software or maintain it?
It depends! Much of what we uncover during a System Audit can be addressed without starting over, but we’ll talk through your business goals and the impact of fixing versus rebuilding before making a recommendation.
