Thirteen institutions co-owned a research dataset. Every access request required all thirteen to approve it. The process was manual, slow, and had brought international research collaboration to a near standstill. Researchers, graduate students, and sponsors expected downloadable access. The reality was a process so cumbersome that requests sat unresolved for weeks.
Valyr built a 27-step automated workflow that handled the entire sequence: electronic signatures, conditional approvals, timebound responses, and secure data access through AWS.
